LeNeveu was named to the NCAA East Division All-America First Team in 2003 after a sophomore season in which he posted a 1.20 goals-against average. At the time, it was lowest single-season GAA in the history of college hockey, with LeNeveu and the men's hockey team's vaunted defense advancing to the semifinals of the Frozen Four. LeNeveu was named one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Award, which is given annually to the top player in college hockey. He had a 28-3-1 record with a .940 save percentage and nine shutouts. LeNeveu was named the ECAC Co-Player of the Year, Ivy League Player of the Year, was placed on the All-Ivy League First Team and won the ECAC's Ken Dryden Award. LeNeveu earned second-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors as a senior. He signed a professional contract after the season with the Phoenix Coyotes and went on to play 22 NHL games with Phoenix and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He also played professionally, in North American minor leagues, Austria and Slovakia.
