A two-time honorable mention selection at midfield in 1958 and 1959, Pfann helped the team to a combined mark of 18-3-1 overall (8-2 Ivy) and a pair of second place Ivy League finishes over his final two seasons.  A team captain in 1959, he was a first-team All-Ivy selection that same season after ranking third on the team with 13 goals.
