A 2017 and 2018 All-American at 1,500 meters, Hugard was a four-year standout in both track and field and cross country. She took 20th overall at the 2018 Outdoor Championships after placing 23rd in the same event in 2017. The school record holder at 1,000 meters, she ranked second all-time at Cornell at 1,500 meters and graduated with the school freshman mark in the 800. Hugard became the first middle distance runner to score individually at every Heps track meet during her career since Hall of Famer Loren Mooney '93 claimed that accomplishment. She won ECAC titles in the 1,500 in 2017 and the 1,000 in 2018, earning runner-up finishes in the 1,000 in 2017 as well. Indoors, she was the Heps champion in the 800 in 2017. A four-time All-Ivy League selection, she was named to the first team once and the second team on three occasions. As a senior, Hugard earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors after placing 19th overall. She twice qualified for NCAA Regionals in cross country and reached regional finals three times in track and field.
