Holthus was a 2020 honorable mention ICSA All-American and two-time first-team All-MAISA skipper for the Big Red. An ICSA Scholastic All-American in 2020, she was part of a pair of conference championship teams for the Big Red. Holthus was a two-time academic all-conference selection. She was voted Team MVP as a senior as voted by her teammates. She accomplished that despite missing her final competitive campaign due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
