Wood was a third-team All-American and first-team All-Ivy attackman in 1980. He led the Big Red in both goals and points in each of his final two seasons. As a senior, he earned the team’s Dr. Ray Van Orman Memorial Award, as the squad’s MVP, as well as the Al “Junior Kelz-Mike Herriott Award for the outstanding senior player. Wood was also an honorable mention All-Ivy selection in 1979.
