The 2022 CSA national champion and a three-time individual finalist, Subramaniam was a three-time All-American and first-team All-Ivy selection. She posted an overall collegiate record of 50-3, all of which came in matches at No. 1 position. Beginning with the final three matches of the 2019-20 season, Subramaniam went on to win 28 consecutive matches until losing her first collegiate match in over three years. She overcame a lost season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a serious car crash to return for her senior year and was named the Charles H. Moore Senior Athlete of the Year at Cornell as well as receiving the CSA's 2023 Betty Richey Award, given to "a senior player who, in her play, exemplifies the ideals of squash, and her love and devotion for the game, her strong sense of fairness, and a high-level of play."
