Hope was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, earning first-team honors as a senior in 2017 after capturing second-team accolades in 2016. A two-year starter and rare four-year letter winner, he started 20 games during his varsity career. The 6-3, 250-pound lineman ended his career with 112 tackles, including 13.5 for a loss and 4.5 sacks. He also forced a fumble and recovered two more. Hope led the team in tackles among his position group as both a sophomore and junior with 40 each year, then was just as productive as a reserve his senior season with 29 stops and a pair of sacks.
