A transfer from the University of Virginia, Pittard finished his Cornell career as a second-team All-American and two-time All-Ivy pick. He became the 33rd player in Cornell history to reach the 100-point plateau, a feat that’s even more impressive given the fact that he did it in just two seasons with the Big Red. He started all 30 games of his career and finished with 49 goals and 57 assists for 106 points. Following graduation, he was selected in the fifth round of the Major League Lacrosse draft, chosen by the Washington Bayhawks with the 44th overall pick.Â
