Hsu became the first Chinese National to be named an All-American in men’s soccer. Continuing Cornell’s tradition of excellent defensive play he was a two-time All-America selection. He helped the squad to a 3-2 record in 1926, earning First Team recognition, while the Big Red went 3-3 in 1927, when he secured Second Team selection. He was named to the Quill and Dagger Honor Society in the Spring of 1927.
