A third-team IWLCA All-American in 2001, McCorry was named to the IWLCA Regional All-America first team after serving as one of the team's leaders on defense, containing some of the best attackers in the country. She was a key to the Big Red's nationally-ranked defense that season, which held opponents to 7.00 goals per game. McCorry also garnered All-Ivy League second and third team in 2001 as well, recording 27 ground balls and causing 26 turnovers. She earned a spot on the NCAA all-tournament Team in 2002.
