Meyer was an honorable mention All-American and first-team All-Ivy attackman in 1989 after helping the Big Red to a 9-4 overall record and a 4-2 Ivy League slate that was good for second place, and a third straight trip to the NCAA tournament. A tri-captain for the 1989 squad, Meyer led the team in goals (34), assists (19) and points (53). He closed his career with 85 goals and 45 assists and his 130 points was good for ninth place on the Cornell career scoring chart. Meyer’s 85 goals left him in 11th place on the career list, just one tally shy of the top 10. Following his senior season, he was selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game, where he scored five goals in the North’s 13-9 victory to be voted the game’s MVP.  Meyer was also an honorable mention All-Ivy selection in 1987.
