All-America lst team forward in soccer in 1948; honorable mention All-America in 1947. Won letters in soccer (1946-47-48). Captained 1948 team which won the Eastern Intercollegiate League championship and was ranked No. 3 in the nation with a 6-0-3 record and led team in scoring. Lettered as pitcher in baseball, 1946 and '48. The university's soccer field is named in his honor.
