A second team All-American and CSA Scholar-Athlete Award recipient as a senior in 2025, Liang served as Cornell's No. 1 player and earned Second Team All-Ivy honors while also claiming Academic All-Ivy recognition for the second consecutive season. He posted a 10-7 record in dual matches and 13-8 mark overall in his final campaign, concluding the season with wins in six of his last seven matches. At the CSA Individual Championships, he reached the consolation semifinals with three consecutive victories, including a win over Princeton's Ahmed Wael. As a junior, Liang went 5-0 from the No. 1 position and advanced to the semifinals of the Molloy South bracket at the CSA Individual National Championship before falling to Western Ontario's Salaheldin Eltorgman, finishing with a 10-8 overall record and earning Academic All-Ivy honors for the first time. He finished his career with a 28-26 overall record after not appearing in matches as a freshman.
