Rougeau was a four-time second-team All-American who helped anchored a defense that led the Big Red to four consecutive Ivy League and ECAC Hockey regular season titles, three ECAC Hockey tournament crowns, four NCAA tournament appearances and three Frozen Fours. Rougeau served as the team's captain her senior year. She was named ECAC Hockey's Best Defensive Defenseman in each of her final three seasons after being named Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2010. Rougeau was a four-time first-team All-ECAC pick and a three-time first-team All-Ivy selection as well as a four-time Kazmaier Award nominee. After graduation, she joined Team Canada and won Olympic Gold at the 2014 games in Sochi.
