Stevenson was named first-team All-American in 1972 and was a second-team selection in 1973, as Cornell won national titles both seasons and was runner-up for the title in 1974. Cornell was undefeated in dual matches during her last three years of varsity competition (10-0 in 1972-73, 6-0 in 1973-74 and 7-0 in 1974-75). She was a two-time recipient of the Olympians Committee Award (given at the national tournament) for sportsmanship, ability, and deportment.
