Ubertalli was one of the most accomplished swimmers in program history, earning All-America recognition while rewriting the Cornell record book across multiple events. Ubertalli will graduate holding school records in the 100 and 200 freestyle, 100 and 200 backstroke, and as part of the 200 medley, 400 medley, 400 freestyle, and 800 freestyle relay teams. As a junior, he swept both the 100 and 200 backstroke at the Ivy League Championships, setting school records, and went on to compete in three events at the NCAA Championships, highlighted by a record-breaking performance in the 200 backstroke that earned second-team All-America honors. A consistent scorer at the Ivy Championships, he placed as high as third in the 200 backstroke as both a freshman and senior while also finishing fourth in the 100 back as a senior.
