An outstanding soccer forward, he was chosen to the All-America second team in 1959. A two-time All-Ivy first team pick, he was an All-New York State selection his senior year. Captain and the team's MVP in 1959, he led the squad in scoring that year and was runner-up as a junior. He was a midfielder on the varsity lacrosse team in 1958 and 1959. He was a member of the U.S. soccer squad which placed third in the 1959 Pan American Games, and won a place on the 1960 Olympic team. He played pro soccer with Toronto of the Canadian Soccer Association. He is a graduate of the Park School and resided in Buffalo, N.Y., while attending Cornell.
