Laird was named to the College Squash Association All-America Second Team in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and the All-Ivy League First Team in 2011 and 2012. She steadily improved her final national ranking in each season at Cornell, moving up from 23rd as a freshman to 22nd to 20th and, finally, 19th after her senior year. She was 12-5 that season, which tied her for the team lead in individual victories. Four of those wins came in five-game matches. Once again competing exclusively in the top three, Laird qualified for the College Squash Assocation Individual Championships, where she had two victories in the first-round consolation bracket. She was named the team's most valuable player that season.
