Juvonen was an honorable mention All-East and All-America selection by the Associated Press at end in 1958. He caught 16 passes for 301 yards and a touchdown to lead the team that season and earned first-team All-Ivy honors. Juvonen was an honorable mention all-league pick in 1957 in his first season as a varsity letter winner on the gridiron after catching 12 passes for 173 yards and a score.
