Jones was a third-team All-American defenseman in 1987. He was a three-time All-Ivy selection, including a second team honor in 1985. He was awarded the team’s Al “Junior” Kelz-Mike Herriott Award as the outstanding senior player. Jones played in 49 career games and picked up 131 ground balls to go along with one career goal and two career assists. For his efforts, he was selected to play in the 1987 North-South Senior All-Star Game.
