One of the best offensive players to ever wear a Cornell uniform, Hurley was a three-time honorable mention All-American selection. Â He earned second-team All-Ivy League honors in 2009 and was a first-team selection in 2008. As a senior, he led the Big Red with 47 goals and ranked second on the team with 60 points. He finished the 2010 season ranked 10th in the nation in goals per game (2.61) and wrapped up his career with a 50-game point-scoring streak, the longest on the team and the third-longest in the nation. At the time of his graduation, Hurley ranked second in Cornell history for career goals (140) and career points (179). At the time, he was also just the second player in Cornell history to score 40 goals in three-straight seasons, joining Mike French '76.Â
