Mateo graduated third on the school’s career receiving yards list (1,235 yards) and second with 95 receptions to go along with nine touchdowns. The three-year letter winner led the team with 47 catches for 695 yards and three touchdowns in 1995 en route to second-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
