Honis placed eighth at 197 pounds at the 2019 NCAA championship to earn his first All-America honor. He rebounded from a first round loss to reach the podium. An EIWA finalist as a senior, he was a first-team All-Ivy selection in his final year en route to a 23-7 mark. A two-time NCAA qualifier, Honis posted a 71-36 career record.
