Allen was the Big Red’s keeper during the late 20’s. He helped the squad to 3-3 record in 1927, earning Second Team All-America selection. An excellent student as well, he was elected to the Chi Epsilon honorary civil engineering society and the Tau Beta Pi honorary engineering society.
