Cornell University Athletics

Hershey was a striker on the Cornell squads during the mid-1930’s. He helped the squad to a 6-1 record during his junior season in 1935, scoring a game-winner in a 3-0 victory over league rival Penn. Although the team record fell to 2-6 the following season, Hershey remained a feared attacker. He was named a First Team All-American in 1936.
