Otis was named to the ICSA honorable mention All-America crew as a senior and was a two-time first team All-MAISA pick. She was a three-time MAISA All-Academic team pick and captained the Big Red in 2018. Otis competed in fall conference championships at the MAISA Women's and War Memorial and in the spring at the Prosser Trophy, MAISA Women's national qualifier and the America Trophy. She also raced in both the 2019 Women's Finals and the Coed National Championship. As a junior, she saw action as part of the crew in all three sailing disciplines at nationals (women's, team race and coed). She had the second seat in B division at the America Trophy and in A division at the Sperry National Women's Semifinal during her sophomore season, crewing A division at the MAISA Women's and War Memorial conference championships. She crewed races at the War Memorial and Atlantic Coast Co-ed Conference Championships and the MAISA Women’s Championship as a freshman.
