Nunes was named a Football Gazette second-team All-American in 1998 after registering 119 tackles with five pass breakups, two fumbles and a sack. He was also a second-team All-Ivy League selection that season. Nunes closed his career ranked ninth all-time in school history with 277 tackles. He was a four-year letter winner, starting games in all four seasons.
