Beers was a third team All-American following a senior season in which he ranked fourth on the team in goals (19) and sixth overall in total points (24). He was a three-time All-Ivy selection, earning a first-team nod as a senior after back-to-back second-team honors. Beers was a four-year letter winner for the Big Red and finished his career with 55 goals and 14 assists for 69 points. He was also a 2002 Academic All-Ivy honoree and following graduation he was drafted by the MLL’s Boston Cannons.
