Lang was a two-time All-American, earning first-team honors in 2011 and third-team honors in 2012. He was also a two-time first-team All-Ivy choice, earning a unanimous selection in 2011. As a senior, Lang took on a larger role in the Big Red defensive and face-off units as a do-it-all midfielder. He finished the 2012 season with 16 goals and six assists for 22 points and collected 23 ground balls and caused seven turnovers. As a junior, he ranked fourth on the team with 27 goals and 36 points overall to go along with 38 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. Lang ranked fifth on the team in goals (16), assists (6) and points (22) during his sophomore season after spending his rookie campaign playing primarily at the defensive midfield position.Â
