Bogar was a two-time honorable mention All-American at attack in 1958 and 1959. A returning Navy veteran, he registered a combined 28 goals in his final two seasons with the Big Red, helping the team to a combined mark of 18-3-1 overall (8-2 Ivy) and a pair of second place Ivy League finishes. Bogar was a first-team All-Ivy selection in 1959.
