Podrisky was a center forward on the Cornell soccer squads of the late-30’s. He was the team’s primary taker of penalties, while he was feared for his touch around the opponent’s six yard box. He helped the Big Red to a 3-3-2 record in 1939 en route to earning Second Team All-America selection.
