Galajda was a two-time Ivy League Player of the Year and was twice named a finalist for the Mike Richter Award, annually presented to the nation’s top goaltender. He finished his career with a gaudy 60-15-9 career record, with his 1.64 career goals against average ranking third in program history. The 2018 Ken Dryden Award winner as ECAC Hockey goalie of the year, he announced himself by leading the nation with a 1.51 goal against average and nine shutouts in a historic freshman season in 2017-18. In the process, he became the first freshman to ever be among the 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, which is presented annually to the best player in college hockey. He was named ECAC Hockey and Ivy League Rookie of the Year that season. In his penultimate game in a Cornell jersey, Galajda recorded his 19th career shutout — tied for the most in program history with Ben Scrivens '10. Galajda posted two shutout streaks of more than 200 minutes over 85 career starts. The three-time all-ECAC Hockey pick was a first-teamer in 2018 and third-teamer in 2019 and 2020.
