Sutton earned All-America crew honors in 2019-20, a season that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A two-time All-MAISA crew choice, she earned a spot on the ICSA All-Academic team and was twice named to the MAISA All-Academic team. Her senior season was canceled due to the pandemic.
