Cummings was named an honorable mention All-American and a second-team All-Ivy selection at midfield in 1990. As a senior, he was named the Rick LaFrance Trainer’s Award winner, given to the senior who has combined mental and physical toughness, along with humor and bravery, despite injury.  Cummings was a three-year letter winner and finished his career with 48 goals and 17 assists for 65 points.
