Fava became the second Cornell women's lacrosse player to earn Ivy League Player of the Year honors, capturing IWLCA third-team All-America honors in the process. Later in 2006, she joined four teammates on the All-Ivy First Team as well as the IWLCA Regional All-American First Team. Fava was one of the only Cornell goalkeepers to earn First-Team All-Ivy honors, where she ended her campaign ranking fifth in the nation in goals against average (7.62) and ninth in save percentage (.522) in helping the Big Red rank fifth nationally as well in scoring defense. Fava was even better in Ivy play, posting a 6.86 goals against average and sporting a .547 save percentage in helping Cornell to a 6-1 mark. Fava’s excellence in front of the net earned her the All Time Letters from 2004-2006. Throughout her career, she had five consecutive games with at least 10 saves and posted 11 games with more saves than goals allowed. Fava also recorded 25 ground balls and caused nine turnovers during her 2006 season and ended her career with 362 career saves, good for third-place all-time at Cornell.
