A two-time NCAA qualifier, Arnone earned an All-America nod in 2007 after finishing eighth at 184 pounds. He was a two-time All-Ivy League selection, including a first-team pick as a senior. Arnone was EIWAs Sheridan Award winner for most falls in the least amount of time in 2008 before he was forced to medical forfeit out of the tournament. He twice placed third at the Eastern championships, first at 184 in 2007 and then at heavyweight in 2010. Arnone closed his career with a 46-19 record.
